These 3 steps are easy, doable, and fun!
Step 1
Record What You Already Know
Start with a box, file on your computer and gather everything you have. Then use Family Search or another program to start to build your tree. Take pictures of everything you have and upload it.
Step 2
Ask Family for
Facts & Stories
Now that you have a tree started ask everyone you are related to, neighbors, aunties etc and find out if they have more information.
Step 3
Search for Records in Your Area
If possible go to the village or city you are researching. Ask for records
